I know a lot about book data. I can help you understand the impact it has on your business, your book sales and discoverability. Whether it’s ONIX or EPUB, I can wax bibliographic for novices and experts alike.
But I don’t know everything. When needed, I call on a broad and trusted network of colleagues and knowledge-hounds to collaborate and deliver.
I love books and the people who make them, read them and move them. Some of my clients are large organizations, and some are small. I support new and emerging publishers by offering the training, guidance and tools needed to give their books the attention they deserve (hint: it has something to do with good book data).
I’m more affordable than you might think and there’s no pressure if I’m not the right fit.
Recent work includes leading a technology project that will build a widget to increase discovery of eBooks in Canadian public libraries; authoring an advisory paper on publisher and library interaction, managing a technology project to enable ONIX 3.0 ingestion for a book aggregator; creating ONIX files for small publishers, and editing a technology paper on digital rights.
Let’s talk about your project.
